Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson hilariously clowns reporter who doesn’t recognize him

Jordan Clarkson, Jazz

Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson isn’t exactly a household name like LeBron James or Giannis Antetokounmpo. But, he is still a solid player who is definitely a key piece of the Jazz.

Clarkson was hilariously interviewed by a reporter in Salt Lake City on Friday and she didn’t even recognize who he was. Take a look:

The reporter even took to Twitter following the situation and realized her mistake of not acknowledging that Clarkson was a Jazz player:

That’s the reigning Sixth Man of the Year you’re talking to! Come on. But hey, mistakes happen and clearly, she doesn’t cover sports. The Jazz sharpshooter is coming off another fantastic season, averaging a career-high 18.4 points and 4.0 rebounds per game as Utah secured the top seed in the Western Conference.

He started just one game all year but was a massive part of their success alongside the likes of Donovan Mitchell, Mike Conley, and Rudy Gobert. After winning such a prestigious award, you’d have to believe he’ll start to get some more recognition.

Clarkson went along with the interview well and didn’t get upset or anything, either. He handled it like a true professional. I’m sure if there were any people around though, they would’ve known that he’s a Jazz player.

But hey, at least both of them went viral, but it’s not like that probably matters to Jordan Clarkson.
